Recently, UAF Biology Assistant Professor Devin Drown has been using Decision Theater North once a week as a teaching tool for his Human Microbiome (BIOL494) course. Our interactive environment allows students to work in pairs on analyzing microbiome samples while projecting each student's laptop screen on Decision Theater screens.
The Massive Collaborative Animation Project is an animation production consisting of students and faculty members from various schools, worldwide, working together to deliver a short animation. MCAP consists of multiple production phases allowing students from different areas of study to contribute their talents. Collaborative work help students to develop their creativity and give team work experience. 3D Animation productions often require many participants. MCAP facilitate a collaborative working experience for students in schools of various sizes and locations.
